Level Design

What is it about ?

This week is about Level Design, a very important part of video games. In Wonderful Golf, i have thinking about it but nothing was really define. It's now more clear and written.

I've detailed the purpose of my first level. My principal goal is to make a tutorial. But with my game, the player have much to learn. We have lots of clubs, how to move inside the level, how to reach the hole and put the ball inside, differents sorts of ennemies, how to protect ourself and attack ennemies, how to use special effects for clubs and consequencies... therefore, there is much to learn.

Solutions ?

So I've decided to devide the tutorial through the first 3 levels. It's easier for the player to understand and apprehend the game.

This is approximately the first 3 levels for the tutorial

I've continued to code my game and also just put some background and SFX musics, and some plateforms just for the idea of a first tutorial.
