The return of Unreal Engine
This week I relearned to use Unreal Engine. After developing a short runner game prototype (Shooting Star), I didn't create a new project using unreal. I started to develop a prototype of infiltration and horror game in first person view. The goal? To cross a path and not to be spotted by enemies.
Actually, I just developed the AI of enemies (shifting and detection). The enemy walks from point A to random point B, he waits, then moves again. If the player is detected, he goes back to the beginning of the level.
The game lacks feedback when the player is detected: the detection shape is not visible. I gonna think at my level design and maybe create shaders. If I like the prototype result, it can become my year project.
